Community Life

Almost all of the Cornwall Bahá’í Community’s activities, such as devotional gatherings, study circles, junior youth groups, children’s classes, and holy days are open to everyone. The Bahá’ís themselves come from a variety of backgrounds, and use both English and French in their activities. They are brought together by a shared belief in the oneness of humanity, combined with worship of the Divine and commitment to community service. The community’s activities are directed by the Spiritual Assembly, a nine-member body elected annually by the adult Bahá’ís resident in Cornwall.
